Male fashion should be one of your priorities. At work and about town, it is important to present a confident appearance. This will help you build successful relationships with coworkers, clients, friends and family. When you know that you are wearing clothes that help you look your best, you can focus your time and attention on more important matters.
Fashion is a matter of choice and reflects a man's individual personality. I can't tell you specifically what to wear and when to wear it, but I can provide you with some important tips and guidelines to help you look better and feel better.
The three foundation basics (try not to laugh)
Regardless of your choice of clothing, you absolutely must follow these three basic rules of fashion. You may laugh and think that these are so simple and common sense…but look around and you will see these rules are broken time and again. So before you put something on, ask yourself these three questions.
1. Is it clean? Unless you are off to work on the farm or dig ditches, don't leave the house with dirty clothes. Nothing will present a bad impression like smelly dirty clothes. Make sure whatever you put on is clean and fresh.
2. Does it fit? Unless you have a killer body, tight clothes will show off your "extra weight". Clothes that are too loose will be uncomfortable and make you look sloppy, baggy, and overweight. Make sure your clothes fit properly.
3. Is it in good shape? Always check your clothing for flaws. Look for rips, holes, loose strings, missing buttons, worn spots, etc. You don't want to look like you borrowed your outfit from the homeless guy in the alley.
