All right, I realize you are a grown man and you know how to wash your hair…but here are a few tips to make your hair washing experience more effective in getting that healthy hair look.

1.  Less is more. I suspect that you may be using too much shampoo or conditioner.  After all…if some is good, more must be better…right?   This is not always the case.  Using too much makes it harder to rinse it all completely away, and too much shampoo can dry out your hair and scalp.  It also means
Clean hair looks healthy and will get you noticed.
Best Hair Washing Tips for Men
you are going to spend more money on your hair products through more frequent replacement.  Unless you are Fabio with a long curly mane and exceptionally flowing locks, you don't need a ton of the stuff.  A glop about the diameter of a quarter (or less) in the palm of your hand should be sufficient for most men.

2. Work those fingers.
Take an extra 30 seconds to give your scalp a good finger tip massage while you condition.  This works out the deep dirt and promotes healthy hair growth by stimulating the scalp.  It improves blood circulation in the scalp and it feels good, too!

3. Rinse completely. The modern man is a busy man.  You've got things to do and spending all day in the shower is not on the list. However, take the extra minute to make sure all of your shampoo and conditioner is completely rinsed out before you finish up the shower.  Leaving un-rinsed shampoo and conditioner in your hair will make it harder to style, prone to attracting dirt, and give it a dirty dull look instead of the healthy shine you really want.
